Nelson NZ
Based on using it once only:
Easy to put together, but had to return the first one as the locking nut could not be undone. Extremely good value for money when compared to other electric or battery driven pole saws. Extremely quiet - I didn't have any need for ear muffs, although I did use them in conjunction with a helmet and face guard. Cut the branches in question like a knife through butter and did so very efficiently.
A little unwieldy when fully extended because of the weight mainly being at the end of the pole with the saw. Not suitable for pruning for extremely tall trees. Possibly the instructions should provide a limitation in terms of height of trees where it is safe to use standing on the ground. Instructions should insist that users have ear muffs, helmet and face guard for safe use.
